Building a venture-scale company takes more than a great idea. It requires access to experienced operators, investors, and advisors who have successfully navigated the journey before.

Carolina Venture Studio is powered by a network of founders, executives, investors, and industry experts who actively support our portfolio companies. Our mentors bring hands-on experience across fundraising, operations, product development, growth, and leadership, working closely with founders at critical moments of scale.

This network is a core part of how we deliver valued depth, accountability, and credibility to every technology startup we help build and launch.

Internship/Volunteer

Volunteering as an Intern at Carolina Venture Studio means working alongside founders to help turn early-stage ideas into scalable companies. Volunteers contribute their time, skills, and experience to support startups during critical phases of development—often when guidance and extra capacity make the greatest impact.

Volunteers may assist with market research, customer discovery, product validation, go-to-market strategy, fundraising preparation, or event operations. Many volunteers bring expertise in areas such as technology, design, finance, marketing, legal, or business strategy, while others are aspiring operators or founders looking to gain hands-on startup experience.

Unlike traditional volunteering, venture studio volunteers are embedded in the startup-building process. They collaborate directly with entrepreneurs, studio partners, and mentors, gaining exposure to real-world startup challenges while helping founders move faster and make better decisions.

For many, volunteering at a venture studio is an opportunity to give back to the innovation ecosystem, build meaningful professional relationships, sharpen practical skills, and contribute to companies that aim to create lasting economic and social impact.
